NFL draft experts often proven wrong
A week from Saturday the NFL Draft will be held in New York putting an end to two of the silliest months for pro football fans.From the end of the Super Bowl in early February until the draft, a strange phenomenon hits. Fans who spend little time actually watching college football in the fall suddenly become draft experts. It's like they all suddenly went to night school to study the theology of pompadoured-ESPN guru Mel Kiper Jr.
For instance, it seems that every loudmouth is convinced that the tight end from Maryland is way better for his team than that defensive end from Louisville. Never mind that he's never seen the aforementioned Vernon Davis or Elvis Dumervil actually play _ or even know what they look like.
